NASHVILLE – The Lipscomb University Men's Tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Vanderbilt University on Sunday evening from the Lummis Family Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bisons and Commodores each took a doubles flight, as
Facundo Perlov and
Alex Vlahos (4-1) picked up their fourth win in a row with a 7-5 score.
After Nathan Cox and Hoyoung Roh evened the flight at 5-5, Perlov/Vlahos won the next two points to secure the dub, which included a 15-30 rally to deuce on the final point of the set.
Unfortunately, Pablo Martinez Gomez and Danil Panarin got Vanderbilt on the board with their 6-4 victory on court two.
VU was in control of singles, winning all six points to sweep the Bisons. Filipo Verdese and
Oskar Szymczak did see one of their respective sets go into a seven-point break.
UP NEXT
The Bisons will spend the next weekend out in Arizona, as they will play a Friday doubleheader with Grand Canyon and Arizona Christian.
