Price is entering his fourth year with the Lipscomb baseball program after joining the staff back in 2017.
During his tenure with the Bisons, Price's primary role has been the hitting coach and working personally with the catchers on the team. Behind Price's leadership the Purple and Gold have finished top-5 in the ASUN in batting over the last two seasons (2020: .261, 3rd; 2019: .274, 4th).
Prior to joining the coaching staff at Lipscomb, Price has accumulated years of coaching experience with three different stints at Showcase Baseball Academy, Wingate University and Erskine College.
From 2014-17 Price was the head coach for multiple teams at the Showcase Baseball Academy. In 2016, Price led the SBA Bones to a SCBL Championship with an overall record of 32-12. As head coach of the Carolina Royals, he posted a record of 40-19 over two seasons and when he was head coach of the 17U SBA Canes he had over 80 players commit to play collegiate baseball.
Price served as the Recruiting Coordinator and Assistant Coach from 2011-14 at Wingate University. He was the hitting and catching instructor where the Bulldogs averaged .303 at the plate, 109 Doubles, 54 home runs per season, complied a 94-62 record and were Co-Conference Champions in 2014. Price was also responsible for assisting the head coach with team travel, budgeting, recruiting and fundraising.
While at Erskine College, Price was also an assistant coach and once again was tabbed as the hitting and catching instructor for the Flying Fleet. From 2009-11 Erskine averaged .318 at the plate, 122 Doubles, 84 home runs per season and tallied a record of 69-41 with a regional appearance in 2010. Price was also involved in recruiting, fundraising, field maintenance and being the camp coordinator.
Price is a proud graduate of Lipscomb University where he completed his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. He also competed as a student-athlete on the baseball team from 2003-06.
