NASHVILLE – Lipscomb Baseball and Softball will partner with the Lipscomb Title IX office to celebrate Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April by hosting awareness games and sporting teal jerseys on the diamond. Teal is the Sexual Assault Awareness Month color. 
 
Baseball will take the field wearing the teal jerseys April 17 against Appalachian State while softball will don the jerseys the weekend of April 24-25 against North Dakota. 
 
Fans will have the unique opportunity to purchase the game-worn special edition jerseys in an online auction. Bidding will open at $90 with a $150 buyout option. The auction is open at www.lipscombsports.com/auctions. All proceeds from the jersey auction will go towards the Lipscomb Athletics Student Athlete Development Fund. This funs exists to aid student athletes with academic support, career development and mentorship, emotional support and community involvement opportunities amongst other things. 
 
The Lipscomb Title IX office is there for the Lipscomb community with resources for victims of sexual assault, sexual harassment or gender discrimination. The Title IX office is committed to making sure that students receive the support they need, and the University does not turn a blind eye to these issues.
