Wyse Promoted To Assistant Coach

NASHVILLE – Lipscomb Baseball and head coach Jeff Forehand announced the promotion of Adam Wyse to assistant coach on Wednesday. Wyse previously served as Director of Player Development for the 2022 season.

"Adam has already made a huge impact on our team in him previous role," said Forehand. "His work ethic is second to none and he has a great rapport with the players. We are excited to see what is next for him and our team."

Wyse was on the 2022 coaching staff that led Lipscomb to a 35-win season, the most wins since the 2015 season and the ASUN West Regular Season title, the first regular season title for the Baseball program in 14 years. Wyse primarily worked with the hitters who posted the most home runs in a single season in program history. The offense also had the second highest slugging percentage, fourth highest on base percentage, fourth most runs scored and seventh best batting average in program history.

Wyse previously spent time on the Campbell University coaching staff as assistant coach and Director of Offensive Development, assistant coach at Pfeiffer  and as a graduate assistant at Louisiana-Lafayette.

A Nashville native, Wyse played collegiately at Campbell University where he was a two-year starter at shortstop for the Camels. He graduated in 2017 from Campbell with a degree in criminal justice.
