Philip Hutcheson on Rex Brothers:
"One look at Rex Brothers' resume tells you he belongs in our Hall of Fame, and even if you never saw his stats, but only saw him play, you'd immediately know you were watching a special player. Some people pass the eye test, but the numbers don't prove it. Some have the numbers but watching them, you'd never know it. And some, like Rex, are equally impressive on paper and in person."

Philip Hutcheson on Caleb Joseph:
"Caleb Joseph was a ballplayer's ballplayer. He had all the tools that made him a worthy recipient of his ASUN All-Decade recognition. But more importantly, when it came to the Bison Baseball program, his love for the game, his energy and enthusiasm, and his encouragement of everyone around him made him and his teams a winner. And coming from a family where his grandfather and father were also Bison athletes, it's especially sweet to see him enjoying this well-deserved honor."

Philip Hutcheson on Josh Smith:
"It's true, Josh Smith made it farther than 99% of all other players by reaching the majors for the five seasons he played. And yes, his name is at or near the top of the Bison baseball record books in a number of different categories. But it is also the consistency with which he performed, coming up with some of his best performances in the biggest moments, and his example of grit and consistency outside of competition that makes him especially worthy of this honor."
