CONWAY, Ark. — Lipscomb lost to Central Ark. 1-0 on Friday. The Bisons battled through a tough Central Arkansas defense that has allowed just three goals on the season.

First Half
- Central Arkansas dominated the early possession, earning an early corner that resulted in a Maxim Sheenkov shot in the 9' minute that Lipscomb keeper Alex Kara easily saved.
- After withstanding early pressure, the Bisons settled in, enjoying much port possession.
- The closing stretch of the frame featured multiple fouls and yellow cards to both sides, with Kara adding a save on Vaclav Kozeny in the 39' minute before the half ended 0-0.

Second Half
- The Bisons dominated the second half early, and James Sasere put Lipscomb's first shot on the half on frame in the 48' minute, but Merrick Cook made a comfortable save.
- Central Ark. moved ahead 1-0 in the 54' minute when Joseph Mwamba scored on a corner kick. The shot from the back post came from a nearly impossible angle, barely slipping inside the post.
- Lipscomb played the final nearly 30 minutes with 10 men after a red card was shown in the 61' minute.
- The Bisons didn't give up, however, and kept pressuring the Central Arkansas goal. Yohan Franchi rocketed a shot that missed high right in the 63' minute.
- Lipscomb made things really difficult for the Bears in the final five minutes with a late corner kick and shots from Zach Kennedy and Mathew Arias Sinclair that forced two critical saves by Central Arkansas.
- Kara recorded two saves while playing all 90 minutes in goal.
