2013 (Junior):  Started 52 of 55 games…Ranked second on team with a .308 average in Atlantic Sun Conference play…Hit. 284 with eight doubles, 1 triple, four home runs, 28 runs scored and 31 RBIs…Was perfect in fielding in 109 attempts and threw out seven runners from the outfield.  
Junior College:  Second-team NJCAA Region IV as a sophomore at Johnson County Community College…Two-time NJCAA All-District selection…Hit 434 with five doubles, two triples, four home runs, 30 RBI as a sophomore in 2012…Hit .364 with 17 doubles, four triples, one home run, 45 RBis and 54 runs scored…Earned NJCAA Division I baseball player of the week honors and KJCCC/Verizon Wireless player of the week honors in March 2012.  
High School: Prepped at Lee’s Summit North High School…Led the Broncos to a runner-up finish in the Missouri state championship game in 2009…Two-time all-conference selection at LSNHS.
Personal:  Son of Larry and Jody Shannon…Has one sister (Chelsea).
