2014 (Junior): Made 19 appearances on the mound with three starts...Went 5-3 with a 3.28 ERA, second best on the team...Fanned 57 batters and recorded two saves in 68.2 innings of work while holding opponents to a .214 batting average...Made first career start in a 7-2 win over Oakland (3/8)...Tossed six frames and seven strikeouts against the Golden Grizzlies while only giving up three hits and one run...In nine appearances against A-Sun foes, the lefty fanned 26 batters to just nine walks, including an 18-1 ratio over a four-game stretch (3/29-4/26)...Over two games in the A-Sun Championship the southpaw tallied 15 strikeouts to just one walk over 11.1 innings of relief work...Struck out a career high eight batters in a 5-4 win over FGCU (5/22)...His five wins and 68.2 innings pitched were third most on the team.
Junior College: Posted a 2.40 ERA and recorded 56 strikeouts in 60 innings of work as a freshman at Rend Lake College.
High School: Prepped at Goreville High School under Shawn Tripp…A two-time all-state and MVP selection for the Blackcats…Helped lead his team to a runner-up finish at state in junior year...Set the school record for wins in junior and senior campagins (24)...Tied the school record with a 17-strikeout performance and also hit three homeruns in the game.
