
BASEBALL TO HOST CREIGHTON AND Northern Kentucky AT Dugan Field

NASHVILLE – The Lipscomb baseball team is set to make its season debut at Dugan Field this weekend with games scheduled against both Creighton and Northern Kentucky. The weekend will open with a game against Creighton at 2 p.m., continue with a double header against NKU starting at 12:00 p.m. Saturday and is slated to finish with another game against Creighton Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

- Lipscomb is 11-2 all-time against former ASUN rival Northern Kentucky. The last matchup was March 4, 2018 when the Bisons defeated the Norse 12-4.
- Last time out, the Bisons defeated Murray State in both games of a doubleheader in Hoover, Ala. before falling to Memphis Tuesday.
- Freshman Logan Van Treeck had an impressive first outing of the season against Murray State, throwing six scoreless innings with a career high 11 strikeouts.
- Junior Noah Thompson toed the rubber for the first time in 642 days against Memphis on Tuesday, throwing one scoreless inning for the Bisons.
- Senior infielder Haddon Adams was named ASUN preseason Player of the Year. Sophomore Chaz Bertolani, sophomore Tyler Guilfoil and junior Maddux Houghton also earned preaseason ASUN All-Conference honors.
- Guilfoil and Houghton also garnered preseason honors from Perfect Game as the duo was named to the Perfect Game preseason All-Conference Team.
