The Bisons steady offensive attack continued with another run in the bottom of the second.
Northern Kentucky began to settle in and scored two of their own in the top of the third to tie things up 2-2, but that would be the last time the Norse would be in striking distance.
Lipscomb continued to pour it on offensively, scoring 11 runs in the next four innings. The Bisons regained the 3-2 lead in the bottom of the third after scoring one run on two hits.
In the fourth, Lipscomb added four more runs. The inning was highlighted yet again by Adams, but this time with an RBI triple that gave the Bisons a 5-2 lead.
With a 7-2 lead, Freshman

Robbie Merced also scored in the inning on a wild pitch for a 9-3 lead after five complete.
Northern Kentucky got a run back in the top of the sixth to cut the Lipscomb lead 9-3 heading into the bottom of the sixth.
Lipscomb responded with a two-out rally to load the bases. With the bases juiced,
