HOW IT HAPPENED

The match was even throughout the first minutes, but Lipscomb broke through in the 12' minute. Matteo Colombo created a great chance from the left side that resulted in a Bisons' corner kick. On the resulting set piece, Luca Naumann sent a ball to the back post where Keegan Yorke headed the ball to the back of the net for a 1-0 Lipscomb lead.

North Florida had a couple of good chances, its best coming in the 22' minute when the Ospreys created a one-on-one chance with Lipscomb keeper Noah Kump. Kump, however, was able to get a glove on the shot and direct it wide of frame to keep Lipscomb in the lead.

Each team had some chances in the waning minutes of the first half, but the score remained 1-0 heading into halftime.

Out of the halftime break, North Florida came out aggressive and created a few chances, but the Lipscomb defense was up to the task.

The Bisons punched back with a flurry of activity in front of the UNF goal resulting in a hard shot from Colombo that went just wide of goal in the 56' minute.

North Florida was able to break through Lipscomb's defensive shape in the 71' minute to equalize 1-1. The Ospreys later took a 2-1 lead in the 78' minute.

Lipscomb was unable to get back on the board and eventually fell 2-1 to North Florida.
